Xposure showcases Emirati photographer’s creative shift

Sharjah 24: During the panel discussion “From Photography to Content Creation and Personal Branding” at the 10th edition of the Xposure 2026 International Photography Festival in Aljada, Sharjah, Emirati photographer and content creator Hind Al Raeesi revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic marked a turning point in her artistic career, transforming her from traditional photography to digital content creation.

Al Raeesi explained to “Sharjah 24” that photography has evolved beyond visual documentation into a platform for storytelling and expressing diverse issues. She highlighted that a picture is worth a thousand words, capable of conveying deep emotions and messages without lengthy explanations.

From personal shoots to educational content

She added, during the pandemic, there was a significant rise in demand for personal photoshoots, but many people struggled with preparation. This led Al Raeesi to create educational video content explaining the steps involved. The content gained wide interaction and popularity, prompting her to fully shift toward producing educational and narrative content for photographers and enthusiasts.

Encouraging participation in Xposure

Al Raeesi encouraged the public to take advantage of the festival’s opportunities, noting that Xposure has become an annual event eagerly awaited by photographers.
