Xposure 2026 wraps up with new Legacy Awards

Sharjah 24: Tariq Saeed Allay, the Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, proudly announced the successful conclusion of the 10th edition of the Xposure International Photography Festival, which attracted a diverse audience from all segments of society, including students from schools and universities.

During the closing ceremony, he shared his thoughts with Sharjah 24, highlighting that His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, presented the winners of the inaugural "Xposure Legacy Awards." This prestigious honor, introduced in this year’s festival, is a groundbreaking initiative aimed exclusively at the participating exhibitions.

The awards are designed to celebrate visual storytelling as a vital source of knowledge and are divided into three main categories: the "Noor Ali Rashid Legacy Award for Documentary Vision," the "Saleh Al Ustad Award for Creative Photography," and the "Beeah Award for Environmental & Conservation Photography."

In his closing remarks, Allay extended his heartfelt appreciation to all the participants, strategic partners, and supporters who played a crucial role in making the festival a resounding success.
