Sharjah 24: The 10th edition of the Xposure International Photography Festival, known as Xposure 2026, wraps up this Wednesday. Over the past seven days, the festival has celebrated amazing photography from across the globe, highlighting the unique moments, experiences, and beauty of people and places from all around the world.

The Xposure Legacy Awards were introduced by the festival in 2026. These awards are exclusive to exhibitions featured in the 10th edition and aim to highlight those that tell stories through visual art, recognising their role in sharing knowledge over time. There are three main award categories, and the winners are chosen by looking at both how much the public engages with the exhibitions and how experts evaluate their quality.

In an interview with “Sharjah 24,” Giles Clarke, Greg Lecoeur, and Dmitry Ersler hailed the success of the festival. They were thrilled to receive recognition for their projects showcased at Xposure.

Giles Clarke felt truly honored to win the Noor Ali Rashid Legacy Award for Documentary Vision. This award recognized his dedication to documenting conflict zones over the past ten years, showcasing the important stories behind those experiences.

Dmitry Ersler was thrilled to showcase his project titled "Russia at Dusk," a work of love that took him seven years to complete. His hard work paid off when he won the Saleh Al Ustad Award for Creative Photography at the Xposure International Photography Festival. He enjoyed sharing his stunning artwork with the audience in Sharjah.

Greg Lecoeur was thrilled to receive the Beeah Award for Environmental & Conservation Photography for his work titled “Mediterranean - An Ocean of Life.” He enjoyed participating in the Xposure event, where he had the chance to meet and connect with other talented photographers from around the world.
