Noura Al Jasmi, a member of the Olympic Council of Asia's Executive Board, applauded the efforts of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of Sharjah Family and Community Council. Al Jasmi pointed out that hosting this major sporting event has helped Sharjah become a key place for nurturing women's sports talent and enhancing their skills at various competitive levels. She expressed pride in the tournament, noting that it has become one of the most significant sporting events in the Arab world.
From the very beginning, it was evident that the Games were destined for success, and this year was no exception. The opening ceremony was especially noteworthy, showcasing a grand celebration that captured attention across the Arab region and beyond. Al Jasmi emphasized that the positive feedback from Arab countries and the Olympic Council of Asia signifies the crucial role this tournament plays in promoting and developing women's sports in the Arab world, leading to remarkable progress.
She continued: “Organizing this event under the umbrella of the Sharjah Women’s Sports Foundation reflects the level of attention given to women’s sports and empowering them to develop their talents. Since its inception, the tournament has contributed to the achievements of a number of Arab female athletes in continental, Olympic, and international competitions, in addition to its role in motivating new generations to practice sports and benefit from its positive effects on physical, psychological, and social levels.”
Rashid Nasser Al Ali, a member of the Arab Athletics Federation’s Board of Directors, shared his thoughts on the Arab Women's Clubs Games, highlighting it as an important and special sporting event. He emphasized that its ongoing success showcases the impressive organizational efforts of Sharjah.
During a visit last September to the venues set up for the athletics competitions—including the Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled and the Sharjah Olympic Women's Sports Center—he noted that everything was ready and met top international standards. This included the running tracks, warm-up areas, locker rooms, medical facilities, and spaces for meetings and hospitality. Al Ali mentioned that the quality of these facilities shows that Sharjah has the kind of sports infrastructure needed to host large-scale championships.
He also praised the Higher Organizing Committee, led by Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, along with all the teams involved, stating that their hard work has played a crucial role in ensuring the Games' success.
Khawla Mohammed Jassim, a member of the UAE Athletics Federation's Board of Directors and the Head of the Women's Committee, emphasized that the ongoing success of the Games is largely due to the generous support and vision of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi. Her leadership has greatly advanced Arab women's sports and helped improve their visibility at different levels.
She stated, "The accomplishments we've seen in the Games over the years are the result of careful planning and a clear vision guided by the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation, backed directly by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi. Her strong commitment to women's sports in all areas has really made a difference." Khawla noted that this support has led to more competitive events and enhanced the performance of Arab female athletes in both regional and international competitions.
Khawla also highlighted the importance of including athletics in the Games, explaining that it has given Emirati female athletes valuable experience and opportunities to improve their skills and personal records. This, in turn, helps bolster national teams and their performances on an international stage. She added that the Sharjah Women's Sports Club plays a crucial role in producing talented athletes for the national teams, contributing to their success at various competitions.
