Kuwait Al Fatat Sports Club set the tone with a straight-sets win over Iraqi side Akkad Ankawa. Akkad controlled long stretches of the opening set before Al Fatat pulled away decisively to take it 25–16. The second set was finely balanced, with Akkad mixing clever touches and Al Fatat relying on power to edge a narrow 25–23. Al Fatat closed out the match with greater precision in the third to seal a 25–19 set and victory, bouncing back from defeat the previous day.
UAE’s Al Wasl recorded another assured triumph, this time against Syria’s Taldara, staying largely in control despite brief spells of resistance in an opening set shaped by long, demanding rallies, as the Emirati side kept their composure throughout. Al Wasl then increased the tempo in the second, asserting dominance from the outset and repeatedly exposing gaps in Taldara’s defence, with precise shot placement proving decisive. Taldara showed greater intent in the third and briefly built a three-point lead, but a series of unforced errors on serve reception shifted momentum back to Al Wasl, who pulled clear to complete a comfortable straight-sets result (25–16, 25–14, 25–17).
The evening fixture between Lebanese Club Jeunesse Bauchrieh and hosts Sharjah Women’s Sports Club produced the performance of the day, as the tournament’s unbeaten leaders were overturned in a high-quality, emotionally charged contest. A vibrant atmosphere filled the stands, as Sharjah used their height and presence to establish control early, taking the opening set 25–17.
Jeunesse responded with renewed determination in the second set and unsettled Sharjah’s rhythm to take the set 25–21. Momentum stayed with the Lebanese side in a frenetic third set. Early points, rising intensity and louder crowd reactions accompanied stronger contributions from their top players, as Jeunesse pulled clear 25–15.
The fourth set remained finely balanced, with Sharjah briefly regaining the lead, but Jeunesse’s composure ultimately prevailed, as the visitors claimed the final point to seal a 25–19 set, sparking celebrations and securing Bauchrieh’s second win of AWST 2026.
Results on the fourth day intensified the race for the title, with Sharjah, Al Wasl and Al Fatat level on nine points, leaving the championship to be decided in the final round scheduled for Thursday.
The concluding day will open with Syria’s Taldara Club taking on Iraq’s Akkad Ankawa Club, followed by Lebanese Club Jeunesse Bauchrieh facing Al Wasl. The competition will then culminate in a decisive showdown between Sharjah Women’s Sports Club and Kuwait’s Al Fatat in a top-of-the-table clash that will determine the champion of the current edition.
