Sharjah Mosque emits “Luminous Serenity” at Sharjah Light Fest

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Grand Mosque is illuminated by a light show called "Luminous Serenity" as part of the 15th Sharjah Light Festival. This festival is organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority under the theme "Lights Reflecting Our Story." It features 13 locations throughout the emirate.

The main facade of the Sharjah Grand Mosque is transformed into a visual spectacle, where state-of-the-art lighting technology projects layers of geometric patterns and Arabic calligraphy onto the domes and arches. This luminous display draws inspiration from the essence of Islamic architecture, showcasing the precision and harmony found within its details.

The "Luminous Serenity" show offers an artistic progression from soft lighting to a brilliant peak, creating an atmosphere of contemplation in the mosque's surroundings. This transformation turns the architectural space into an emotional experience that deepens the connection to identity and place.

Visitors can explore the 13 festival sites daily from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with extended hours until midnight on weekends. The 15th edition of the festival will conclude on February 15, featuring a light program that celebrates the landmarks of the Emirate of Sharjah and tells its story through light.
