Al Wasl secured the silver medal after earlier defeating Lebanon’s Club Jeunesse Bauchrieh 3–1 to remain in contention until the final fixture, while Al Fatat settled for bronze after losing to the hosts in the championship decider.

Honouring ceremony attended by senior officials

The medal ceremony was held in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the AWST Supreme Organising Committee; Sheikha Hayat Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Oversight and Follow-up Committee; Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Anzi, Secretary-General of UANOC; Hanan Al Mahmoud, Vice Chair of the Supreme Organising Committee; and Moza Al Shamsi, Director of AWST.

Also in attendance were Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council; Tamer Gomaa, a representative of the League of Arab States; and several sports officials and federation representatives from across the region.

Sharjah dominate final to secure title

Sharjah Women’s Sports Club sealed the title with a straight-sets win over Al Fatat, taking the match 25–13, 25–23, 25–17. The hosts set the pace early with strong serving and disciplined blocking to take the opening set comfortably.

Although Al Fatat pushed the hosts into a tighter second set, Sharjah held firm in the key moments before reasserting control in the third to close out the match and confirm the championship.
