Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Taekwondo Club topped the overall standings to claim first place, followed by Jordan’s Prince Rashid bin Al Hassan Centre in second, while Saudi Arabia’s Al Qadsiah Sports Club placed third.
On Wednesday, Fatima Al Mustapha Bensaid of Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Taekwondo Club claimed first place in the under-46kg category, followed by Shahd Saad Mohammed of Iraq’s Ghaz Al Shamal Club. Third place was shared by Maryam Mohammed Alkhazal of Saudi Arabia’s Al Qadsiah Club and Leyan Hamza of Jordan’s Prince Rashid Centre.
In the under-49kg division, Fatema Sadeq Kalawadh of Bahrain’s Budaiya Women’s Club claimed first place, followed by Sedeen Hamza of Prince Rashid Centre in second. Stero Mohammed Rashid of Iraq’s Gaz Al Shamal Club and Hessa Rashid Alketbi of Fujairah Martial Arts Club shared third place.
The under-53kg division was won by Marieme El Mahdi Nia of Wydad Athletic Taekwondo Club, with Shams Ahmed of Saudi Arabia’s Al Qadsiah Club finishing second. Fatimah Isam Azeez of Ghaz Al Shamal Club and Nawal Ali Hazazi of Al Qadsiah Club shared third place.
In the under-57kg category, Fadia Mazin Khirfan of Prince Rashid Centre, with Hanan Yusuf Alsherooqi of Budaiya Women’s Club finishing second. Third place was shared by Arazw Abdullah Hene of Gaz Al Shamal Club and Fatima Mousa Nasir of Sharjah Women’s Sports Club.
The under-62kg category was won by Merieme Ahmed Khoulal of Wydad Athletic Taekwondo Club, who secured gold, while Lateen Omar Muthana of Al Qadsiah Club took silver. Bronze went jointly to Amna Mohamed Alloghani of Sharjah Women’s Sports Club and Shdha Jalal Dawood of Ghaz Al Shamal Club.
In the under-67kg division, Razan Mohammed Alrawashdeh of Prince Rashid Centre secured first place, while Asayel Rashid Alketbi of Fujairah Martial Arts Club placed second. Maysam Sattar Jabbar of Gaz Al Shamal Club and Sara Mahmood Jallab of Budaiya Women’s Club finished joint third.
The under-73kg division was topped by Dunya Bushaib of Al Qadsiah Club, with Soufya Ahmed Ben-Younesse of Wydad Athletic Taekwondo Club finishing second. Salma Rashid Alketbi of Fujairah Martial Arts Club and Shaima Mohamed Alzaabi of Sharjah Women’s Sports Club shared third place.
The last category, +73kg heavyweight, was topped by Rama Ayman Abo-Alrub of Prince Rashid Centre. Hajiba Ahmed Harakat of Wydad Athletic Taekwondo Club took second place, while Fatmah Turky Aljeemaz of Kuwait’s Alfatat Sport Club and Nour Nizar Mohammed of Qatar Club shared third position.
Several trophies were awarded at the conclusion of the competition. Iraq’s Ghaz Al Shamal Club received the Best Club Award, while Fadia Khirfan of Jordan’s Prince Rashid Centre was named Best Player. The Best Referee Award went to Kulthum Al Mutawa’a of Qatar.
