Sharjah24: Arsenal F.C. thrashed hosts Tottenham Hotspur F.C. 4–1 in Matchweek 27 of the Premier League, comfortably winning the North London derby to strengthen their grip on top spot.
Goals and key moments

Arsenal sealed the victory thanks to two goals from Eberechi Eze and another brace from Swedish forward Viktor Gyökeres, bouncing back strongly after two consecutive draws.

Eze scored in the 32nd and 61st minutes, while Gyökeres added goals in the 47th minute and deep into stoppage time (90+4). Tottenham’s only reply came through French striker Randal Kolo Muani in the 34th minute.

Title race implications

The win lifts Arsenal to 61 points at the top of the table, five points clear of second-placed Manchester City F.C.. It marks their first victory after draws against Brentford F.C. (1–1) and Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. (2–2).

Tottenham’s struggles continue

Meanwhile, Tottenham remain on 29 points in 16th place, suffering their first defeat under new Croatian head coach Igor Tudor as their difficult run of form continues.
