APC publishes the 14th Young Parliamentarian issue

Sharjah 24: The Arab Parliament for the Child (APC) has released the fourteenth issue of its quarterly magazine, "The Little Parliamentarian," published by the General Secretariat of APC in the Emirate of Sharjah, for February 2026. This new issue continues its mission of instilling cultural and parliamentary awareness in Arab children and enhancing their intellectual and cognitive engagement with current and future issues, within a comprehensive vision that elevates the value of the child as an integral partner in development and community building.
The issue features a diverse editorial framework that combines parliamentary education, cultural identity, and contemporary knowledge. It is distinguished by the "Salem and Salama" page, which addresses the topic of cultural identity in a simple, conversational, and engaging style for children. The "Subh Saboura" section is dedicated to the theme "Children: Partners in Development," emphasising the growing role of emerging generations in shaping the future and actively participating in their societies.
 
Family, the nucleus of society
 
In the "Issues" section, the magazine highlighted the family as the nucleus of society and the foundation for building the Arab individual. The "Parliamentary Culture" page discussed the topic of "Building Awareness Before Making Decisions," reinforcing the concepts of conscious participation and social responsibility among children.
 
The "News and Follow-ups" section, titled "Arab Children Defend Their Identity," showcased examples and initiatives reflecting Arab children's awareness of their cultural and national issues.
 
APC members experiences
 
 Ali Al-Hamad, APC member, shared his parliamentary experience and the skills and knowledge it provided him. Ali Muhammad Ali, from the Club of Former Members, spoke about the Arab Children's Parliament's contribution to building his character, enhancing his self-confidence, and developing his ability to express himself, participate, and share other enriching experiences.
 
APC and AI
 
The magazine also featured an investigative report on "Arab Children and Artificial Intelligence," exploring the opportunities and challenges that modern technologies present to children's awareness and future.
 
On the cultural and tourism front, the "Tourism Editor" page highlighted the State of Qatar under the title "Qatar Through the Eyes of Its Children: A Story of Place and Identity," while the "Science and Innovation" page featured an article by Kyrillos Mikhail on "Children's Mental Health Deserves Attention," emphasising the importance of the psychological dimension in child development.
 
The "Tales from Heritage" page presented the story "The Straw That Broke the Camel's Back," aiming to connect new generations with Arab heritage. The "Self-Development" page addressed the topic of "Digital Good Samaritans" by researcher Amna Al-Hantoubi, alongside pages dedicated to creativity, articles, columns, and diverse coverage.
 
The fourteenth issue also featured a special supplement documenting APC participation Sharjah International Government Communication Forum 2026, highlighting the presence of Arab children on dialogue and intellectual platforms and their active participation in discussing communication issues and crafting impactful messages.
 
Important educational and media tool
 
On this occasion, His Excellency Ayman Othman Al-Barout, Secretary-General of APC, affirmed that the magazine "The Little Parliamentarian" represents one of the important educational and media tools adopted by the Parliament to instil parliamentary culture and Arab identity in children. He noted that the fourteenth issue reflects a comprehensive vision that balances tradition and modernity, keeping pace with the interests of Arab children and contemporary issues.
 
He added that the magazine continuously strives to involve children in content creation and develop their critical thinking and dialogue skills, thus contributing to the preparation of a conscious generation capable of positive participation in building their Arab society and its future.
