The tournament saw the participation of four teams representing the club’s employees and administrators, with the teams named after prominent founders and supporters of the club. Participants competed in matches characterised by enthusiasm and a high spirit of sportsmanship.
Players delivered outstanding performances that reflected their sporting skills and competitive spirit, adding an enjoyable atmosphere for attendees and followers of the event.
The club affirmed that the championship comes as a gesture of appreciation and loyalty to individuals who were part of the club’s history and spirit, leaving positive marks through their dedication and commitment to serving Dibba Al Hisn.
On this occasion, the club remembered Saeed Suleiman bin Zayed, one of the founders of sports in Dibba Al Hisn, who contributed greatly to administrative work and played a role in building the club’s sporting journey. The club also recalled Saif Mohammed bin Yarouf, who defended the club’s colours with dedication and was known for his high sportsmanship and commitment as a loyal player.
The club also commemorated Antar Hussein, one of the loyal staff members who exerted great efforts in serving the club, as well as Mohammed Abdullah Baghdad, who was one of the club’s faithful supporters whose constant presence and encouragement inspired everyone.
The club affirmed that these individuals, along with others who served this sporting institution, will remain an integral part of the club’s memory and history. The club prayed that God grants them His vast mercy and rewards them for their contributions.
On the final day of the tournament, the participating teams were honoured during the closing ceremony. The Antar Hussein Team was crowned champion after delivering an outstanding performance throughout the competition, amid an atmosphere of camaraderie and fair competition among all participating teams.
