Sharjah Asset Management launches “Fawalat Al Eid”

Sharjah24: The “Fawalat Al Eid” event kicks off today at Souq Al Jubail in Sharjah, Al Dhaid, and Kalba in preparation for the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr, running until 19 March. The initiative aims to enhance the festive atmosphere through a community celebration inspired by authentic Emirati traditions of hospitality and generosity.

Reviving a cherished Emirati tradition

Souq Al Jubail seeks to revive the concept of “Fawalat,” a prominent social tradition, with dedicated spaces displaying Eid baskets and boxes elegantly arranged for purchase as hospitality offerings or gifts, blending heritage with a modern shopping experience.

Supporting local businesses and enriching visitor experience

Sultan Al Ketbi, CEO of Markets Management in Sharjah, highlighted that the event strengthens Emirati customs, supports local shops, boosts commercial activity, and positions Souq Al Jubail as a cultural and community destination.

Event timings and locations

The event runs daily from after Maghrib prayer until midnight at the main halls of markets in Sharjah, Kalba, and Al Dhaid, welcoming visitors and families to prepare for Eid in a festive and heritage-inspired atmosphere.
