Khorfakkan to host Asian Youth Archery Championship

Sharjah24: Khorfakkan will host the Asian Archery Championship for youth (male and female) under 18 and 21 from 12 to 19 December, while the Sharjah Police Club Stadium will host the fourth stage of the UAE Archery League next April.

The federation also announced that the fourth stage of the UAE Archery League will take place at Sharjah Police Club Stadium on 4 and 5 April, followed by the final stage of the UAE Archery League for men and women on 18 April.

It further clarified that the final round of the UAE Archery League, organised by the Emirates Talent Development Committee and National Teams Support, will be held on 19 April 2026.

Building a strong talent base

Hanadi Khalifa Al Kaabi, President of the Federation, stated that the upcoming phase features an important schedule within the current season’s calendar, as part of the federation’s strategic efforts and development plans to elevate the sport to the highest levels and enhance the competitiveness of national teams in upcoming international events.

Al Kaabi praised the cooperation of clubs and their joint efforts with the federation in discovering talent, organising events and technical workshops, and coordinating various programmes that contribute to achieving future goals and building a strong talent base across different age groups.
