GCC Secretary-General condemns attacks

GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi denounced the Iranian attacks on GCC member states as clear violations of sovereignty and international law, posing a direct threat to regional and global security and stability.

Coordination with the European Union

During a phone call with Dubravka Šuica, the European commissioner for the Mediterranean, Albudaiwi and Šuica discussed recent developments and the dangerous escalation. They emphasised the necessity of halting hostilities and the importance of coordinated international action to safeguard navigation and global energy supplies.

EU reaffirms support

Commissioner Šuica reiterated the European Union’s full support for the security and stability of GCC countries and condemned all Iranian aggression in the region.
