Al Mudam Municipality all set for unstable weather conditions

Sharjah 24: Dr Mohammed Aten Al Ketbi, Head of the Municipal Services and Emergency Team at Al Mudam Municipality, stressed that the municipality is fully prepared to deal with the current weather situation affecting the UAE, including increasing emergency team deployments and monitoring the efficiency of drainage networks.

In exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”, Dr Al Ketbi confirmed that the Municipal Council and Al Mudam Municipality boosted their efforts with vehicles and water pumps to minimize the effect of the weather conditions. He noted that several pumps were installed in tunnels, and the locations of water accumulation were identified to enable an immediate response.

Dr Al Ketbi explained that the emergency team’s plan, with the help of several departments, included distributing pumps and vehicles to many locations, aiming to contain the impact. The teams responded smoothly to the unstable conditions, reducing the impact on infrastructure and traffic flow.

He concluded by calling on the public in Al Mudam to take precautions and get updates from official sources.
