Sharjah24: The Ministry of Defence announced that UAE air defences are currently responding (Friday morning, 3 April 2026) to missile and drone attacks originating from Iran.

The ministry confirmed in a post on X that the sounds heard across various areas of the country are the result of UAE air defence systems intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.
