Lille have remained undefeated since 1 February, a run that includes six wins and three draws.
Lille moved up to third place with 53 points, strengthening their position in the race for a Champions League spot. They are one point ahead of fourth-placed Marseille, who had overtaken them with a 3-1 home win over Metz on Friday, and two points ahead of Lyon, who climbed to fifth after a 2-0 win over Lorient.
After a run of three consecutive away wins – 1-0 against Angers, 2-1 against Rennes, and 2-1 against Marseille – Bruno Genesio's men cruised past Toulouse, who had lost only two home games this year – 3-0 to Lens and 1-0 to Marseille.
A tight race for European qualification among France's top football clubs
Lyon kept their Champions League hopes alive with a 2-0 win against Lorient.
Roman Yaremchuk (49) and Corentin Tolisso (56) scored the goals for Lyon, who are now just one point behind fourth-placed Marseille, the last team to qualify for the Champions League playoffs.
Lyon ended a run of nine matches without a win across all competitions, including three defeats and three draws in the league, which had cost them valuable points in the race for the top spots.
Meanwhile, Lorient stayed on 38 points in ninth place.
