12 killed as heavy rains hit Haiti

Sharjah24 - WAM: At least 12 people have been killed בעקבות heavy rainfall that affected north-western Haiti over the past few days.

Flooding and damage

Floodwaters submerged agricultural lands and caused damage to hundreds of homes, as well as dozens of roads.

Most affected areas

According to Haiti’s Civil Protection Agency, the hardest-hit cities include Port-de-Paix, Saint-Louis-du-Nord, and Anse-à-Foleur.
