Led by Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, the delegation engaged with global space leaders to discuss the future of the space sector and expand international collaboration, reflecting the UAE’s role as an active partner in the global space economy.
The delegation highlighted the extension of the Emirates Mars Mission “Hope Probe” until 2028, following its success in collecting over 10 terabytes of scientific data that provided unprecedented insights into the Martian atmosphere.
Updates were also shared on the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt and other initiatives aimed at boosting the national space economy and positioning the UAE as a leading hub for aerospace innovation and investment.
On the sidelines of the symposium, the UAE delegation held meetings with agencies including NASA, the Korea AeroSpace Administration, and the French National Centre for Space Studies to explore cooperation in lunar and Martian exploration and the implementation of the Artemis Accords.
Through participation in high-level discussions with international partners, the UAE Space Agency emphasized the shift toward long-term strategic alliances that support advanced technology development and the growth of national talent in the space sector.
