Al Ain face Al Wahda as UAE Pro League reveals ADIB Cup stats

Sharjah 24: The UAE Pro League has released key statistics from the 18 editions of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup ahead of the final between Al Ain FC and Al Wahda FC, scheduled for May 1 at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Tournament history shows 755 matches played

Across 18 editions, the competition has featured 755 matches, with 562 wins and 193 draws, including 52 goalless encounters. A total of 2,266 goals have been scored, averaging nearly three goals per match.

Shabab Al Ahli leads title and goal records

Shabab Al Ahli Club is the most successful team with five titles, while Al Wahda has three. Al Ain, Al Jazira, and Al Nasr have each won twice, and Sharjah and Ajman have claimed one title each.

Al Jazira and Al Wahda top attacking records

Al Jazira leads the all-time scoring chart with 225 goals, followed by Shabab Al Ahli with 215, while Al Ain and Al Wahda are level on 210 goals each. Al Wahda also leads in overall wins with 60 victories.

Defensive records highlight Al Wasl strength

On the defensive side, Al Wasl FC holds the most clean sheets with 40, followed closely by Al Wahda with 39 and Al Nasr with 38.
