Manchester City seized the top spot in the English Premier League, ahead of Arsenal on goal difference, after their 1-0 win over Burnley, who were relegated to the Championship.
City now have 70 points, the same as Arsenal, who play Newcastle on Saturday in Matchday 34. Pep Guardiola's team also have a game in hand against Crystal Palace from Matchday 31, which will be played on May 22nd, ahead of the final matchday.
Meanwhile, it was a sad night for Burnley fans, who bid farewell to the top flight after just one season in the Premier League, having finished second in the Championship the previous season.
After West Ham drew with Crystal Palace on Monday at the end of round 33, Burnley, who suffered their 22nd defeat, joined bottom-placed Wolverhampton, who had already been relegated before this round.
