Attacks in Nigeria kill 23, including three children

Militants carried out an attack in Borno State in north-eastern Nigeria, killing 11 people in the Pubago community. The attackers reportedly arrived on motorcycles and targeted civilians. Some residents remain missing, raising fears that the death toll could rise. 

In separate incidents in Zamfara state in the north-west, villages in the Bukkuyum district were attacked. Nine people were killed, and eight were injured in Rumbuki village, while at least three children were among those killed in Nikai village.
