Sharjah crowned UAE Handball Cup champions for 14th time

Sharjah24: Sharjah’s youth handball team claimed the UAE Handball Cup title for the third consecutive season and the 14th time in its history, following a 36–27 victory over Kalba in the final held at Al Dhaid Club hall.

The team was crowned by Yasser Alai Al Naqbi, Board Member of the UAE Handball Federation and Head of the Referees Committee, who presented Sharjah with the gold medals and trophy, while Kalba received the silver medals as runners-up. The ceremony was attended by Ali Hussein Al Marzouqi, Deputy Head of Team Sports at Sharjah Club, and Badr Al Hammadi, Supervisor of the club’s age-group handball teams.

Al Hammadi expressed his pride in the achievement, highlighting the strong system and continuous support behind Sharjah handball. He also praised the team for completing a domestic treble this season, having already secured the league title and Super Cup.

The victory underscores Sharjah Club’s dominance across all age categories, with its handball teams achieving a perfect record of 12 titles so far this season.
