UAE reaffirms steadfast support for Bahrain

Sharjah24 - WAM: His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, affirmed that the United Arab Emirates expresses its full and unwavering support for all sovereign measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain, ensuring the protection of its national sovereignty, safeguarding its achievements, and strengthening its security and stability in the face of any attempts or threats.

Strong fraternal ties and shared vision

He explained that these positions stem from deep-rooted brotherly ties and long-standing historical relations between the UAE and Bahrain, as well as shared visions centred on reinforcing security and stability, preserving national resources, and advancing development and prosperity.

Gulf security is interconnected

He stressed that Bahrain’s security is an integral part of the UAE’s and the wider Gulf’s security, noting that any threat to Bahrain requires a unified stance and full solidarity in addressing all challenges.

Continued and unwavering solidarity

He also reaffirmed the UAE’s firm and unlimited solidarity with Bahrain, and its ongoing support for all steps and measures taken by its leadership to enhance national security, consolidate stability, protect institutions, and meet the aspirations of its people for further progress and development.

Commitment to regional stability

He concluded by emphasising that the UAE will remain, under its wise leadership and steadfast vision, a strong supporter of Bahrain, driven by a belief in shared destiny and the importance of joint action to confront challenges, thereby strengthening security and stability across the region and serving the interests of its peoples.
