Sultan bin Ahmed: Army unification reinforces nation’s stability

His Highness said: “Since its establishment until today, on which we celebrate the Golden Jubilee, the Armed Forces have contributed to protecting the nation's achievements and preserving its gains, and to consolidating the values of unity and cohesion among the people of the Emirates. They have been and still are a key pillar in supporting the comprehensive development process, reflecting the vision of the wise leadership in building a strong, safe and stable state.”

His Highness added: “We commend the high level of readiness and constant preparedness of the Armed Forces to extend a helping hand to all those in need, both within and outside the country, through their noble humanitarian and relief roles, in addition to their national role in defending the homeland and confronting all those who attempt to undermine its security and stability. The sincere efforts exerted by our Armed Forces reflect the values of giving and sacrifice, so that they remain the nation’s impregnable shield and a strong support that preserves its security and protects its resources.

“The sincere sacrifices and dedicated efforts made by the sons of the nation in the fields of military work within our Armed Forces embody a high level of readiness and discipline, and reflect the spirit of giving and dedication that the sons of the country possess, out of their keenness to consolidate the foundations of the Union, preserve the security of the homeland, and protect its achievements,” His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed said.
