SPEA honours 30 winners of "Min Fikr Sultan" initiative

Sharjah24: Mariam Ali Al Deqi, Head of Educational Curricula at the Sharjah Private Education Authority, said the authority hosted the closing ceremony for the second edition of the “Min Fikr Sultan” initiative at its headquarters.

The initiative targeted private school students from Grade 7 to Grade 12 in both Arabic and English streams and included a study of one of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi’s works, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. His book Sard Al That (Self Narrative) was selected for this year’s edition.

Al Deqi told Sharjah24 that the second edition recorded notable growth, with 56 schools and 2,429 students participating in the internal qualifying rounds across various educational curricula in the emirate.

She added that 30 male and female students were honoured for their outstanding performance and excellence in the cultural initiative.

The “From Sultan’s Thought” initiative continues to strengthen its position as one of Sharjah’s leading educational and cultural initiatives by promoting a reading culture and reinforcing the presence of knowledge within school environments, helping to prepare a generation that is intellectually aware and empowered.
