The event is being organised as part of the institution’s commitment to empowering members with a deeper understanding of the different tracks, helping to enhance their participation in future workshops and programmes, while supporting their journey in discovering their interests and developing their skills within a motivating and safe environment.
“Zawaya Sajaya” seeks to achieve a number of objectives, most notably providing members with the opportunity to form new friendships, encouraging them to register and participate in upcoming programmes, and increasing attendance and membership rates by attracting new members. The event targets 90 members across the Sharjah, Kalba and Khorfakkan centres.
The event will take place on 6 June at the Sharjah centre, while the Kalba and Khorfakkan centres will host activities on 7 June.
The programme includes seven main tracks offering a diverse range of workshops. The sports track features basketball, volleyball and fencing, while the literature and languages track includes the “Crime Literature” workshop. The life skills track offers a soap-making workshop, and the arts track includes mosaic cup mould design, ceramic painting, and collaborative drawing and assembly activities.
The theatre track presents the “Our Theatre” workshop, while the science and technology track includes the “Forensic Science: Where Evidence Speaks” and “Innovate and Design” workshops. The music track features a workshop on the basics of piano playing.
The event reflects the commitment of Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah to providing integrated educational and practical experiences that broaden members’ horizons and strengthen their active presence within the Sajaya community, reinforcing the institution’s role in preparing an aware and creative generation capable of making a positive impact on society.
