Sharjah Islamic Affairs inagurates 5 new mosques

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department inaugurated 5 mosques in Sharjah under the great directives and attention of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who gives mosques the utmost attention and personal follow-up, so that mosques remain the main icon of Sharjah.

Abdullah Khalifa Yarouf al Sabousi, Head of Islamic Affairs, indicated that the inauguration of the 5 mosques coincides with Eid al-Adha, and it is within the department's plan and efforts to keep pace with the development of Sharjah in the construction of mosques in all suburbs and regions.

The department also announced the allocation of 625 musallas and mosques in Sharjah for the Eid Al Adha prayer. It stressed the need for the people to adhere to the Coronavirus preventive measures.

Prayers will be held at 05:51 a.m. in Sharjah and Al Hamriyah, at 05:50 a.m. in Al Dhaid and Al Bataeh, at 05:51 a.m. in Madame and Maliha, and at 05:51 48 am in the Eastern Province.
