UKB Law Dean joins Qatar University PhD programme review team

Sharjah 24: In an academic achievement that reflects the distinguished academic standing and specialised expertise of Prof. Lafi Mohammed Daradkeh, Dean of the College of Law at University of Kalba (UKB), he was selected as a member of a team of academic experts to evaluate the PhD in Law programme at Qatar University. The evaluation committee included Prof. Daradkeh and another academic expert from the United States of America.

This selection comes in recognition of Prof. Daradkeh’s academic and research expertise in the fields of legal education, quality assurance, and academic accreditation, as well as his extensive experience in developing postgraduate law programmes at both regional and international levels.

The evaluation process included reviewing the PhD in Law programme at the College of Law at Qatar University in terms of the study plan, learning outcomes, scientific research, academic supervision mechanisms, and the programme’s compliance with international academic quality standards. The PhD in Law programme at Qatar University is considered one of the region’s advanced legal research programmes, aiming to prepare qualified researchers and specialists in various branches of law while promoting scientific and legal research output.
