Held on Tuesday morning at the Sustainability Hall at the police's headquarters, the initiative aimed to enhance the quality of physiological and psychological health status of the force's members.
The initiative was attended by Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police; Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Jarwan, Head of the Initiatives and Events Team at the Representative Office of MoHAP in Sharjah; and several ranking officers and officials from the ministry
The initiative was designed to provide several medical services at the mobile medical services vehicle and the Sustainability hall, such as vital signs checks, vision examinations, and consultations.
It included a lecture on the causes of stress and anxiety, the severe complications, including chronic diseases, and several solutions to confront them.
The lecture also addressed the necessity of following a healthy diet, ensuring sufficient rest, and exercising and its impact on promoting healthy nutrition across the life course.
