Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) concluded the 9th edition of the Sharjah Sports Summer "Our Holiday is Different" which took place from July 10th to August 3rd, with the participation of at least 4,500 members of both genders in the age groups of 7-12 years and 13-17 years.
The sports event involved 20 clubs, institutions, and entities, featuring a diverse range of over 600 exciting activities, including a fantastic selection of sports, recreational, religious, educational, cultural competitions, as well as electronic and water games, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed by the participants.

Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) praised this year’s edition, stating that it is one of the distinctive annual events, in line with the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and his wife Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs. The event aims to involve young people from different age groups in various initiatives and activities that benefit them, especially during leisure time and vacations.

His Excellency thanked the clubs and agencies cooperating with the Council and the Department of Sports and Community Events in implementing this edition. He also praised the keenness of families to enroll their children in the event to benefit from their free time, as it is one of the annual special events in the emirate, contributing to discover thier skills and talents in various fields.

In turn, Ahmed Al Salman, Vice-Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Summer Committee, confirmed that the event has achieved a distinguished success, witnessing remarkable participation from a number of clubs in the emirate in its various implemented activities and programs.
