Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi attends meeting for 11th Sharjah Tour

The chairman welcomed attendees and stressed the importance of concerted efforts to organise this major international event, which has become synonymous with high standards of organisation.

He reaffirmed his full confidence in the organising committee, which will build on the successes achieved in previous editions.

The meeting was also attended by Mohammed Obaid Al Hussan, Secretary General of the Council; Dr Yasser Omar Al Dokhi, Tour Director; and Bakhit Saeed Al Qurs, Deputy Tour Director, along with committee members.

Participants reviewed reports submitted by the various subcommittees and set a timetable for inspecting the proposed stages and routes of the Tour, including those designated for the youth and people with disabilities races, in line with technical and security arrangements. The meeting also reviewed the list of participating teams and national squads, as well as the promotional plan for the event, with all organisational details to be announced at a comprehensive press conference ahead of the tour’s launch.
