Sharjah Government Employees Ramadan Championship begins at AUS

Sharjah 24: Mohammed Salem Al-Qaseer, a member of the Sharjah Government Employees Club Board of Directors, announced the launch of the club's Ramadan Championship for 2025 at the American University of Sharjah stadiums.

Championship dates and details

The Sharjah Government Employees Club Ramadan Championship will run from March 2 to 21. The football tournament will take place from March 2 to 13, featuring 32 teams representing government and semi-government entities in the Emirate of Sharjah. These teams are divided into eight groups, followed by elimination rounds, with the final match scheduled for March 13.

Fostering cooperation and community spirit

Al-Qasir emphasised that the Ramadan Championship aims to create a positive cultural and sporting environment among Sharjah Government employees. One of the club’s key objectives is to foster a spirit of cooperation and enhance communication among employees outside the workplace. He encouraged the public to attend the tournament and enjoy the Ramadan festivities and sporting atmosphere at the American University of Sharjah.
