The visit is part of the Youth Cultural Exchange Programme, organised by Sharjah Youth and Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, affiliated with the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators.
This year's programme is being held in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The programme aims to introduce participants to the Kingdom's most prominent experiences in leadership and culture, as well as to learn about the programmes, interactive workshops, and accompanying events offered by Youth City 2030, within an interactive environment that enriches and enhances their experiences.
The Rubu' Qarn delegation includes a select group of members of the Sharjah Youth Shura Council, participating in its ninth parliamentary session (2025-2026). The session is being held under the theme "Community Service as Leadership." This reflects Sharjah Youth and Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah's commitment to providing them with the opportunity to engage with pioneering Gulf experiences in developing young leaders, enabling them to assume responsibility for their future roles and enhance their community presence at the national, Gulf, and global levels.
The delegation will embark on a rich, multi-faceted programme, including an official meeting with Her Excellency the Minister of Youth Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to learn about national policies engage with pioneering Gulf experiences. They will also visit the Bahraini Shura Council to learn about the mechanisms of parliamentary and legislative work in the Kingdom, and the UAE Embassy, expressing pride in national identity and deepening diplomatic ties between the two countries.
The visit programme also includes exploratory tours of several cultural and historical landmarks in the Kingdom, most notably the Bahrain National Museum. Participants will participate in a training programme specifically designed to hone their skills and develop their capabilities. Participants will also embark on an inspiring journey to Youth City 2030, where they will participate in its creative workshops that blend education and entertainment, opening up new horizons for them in thinking, teamwork, innovation, and leadership.
The visit is part of a series of initiatives launched by the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, with the aim of preparing a responsible Gulf generation that understands the importance of its role in building its future and society.
