Sharjah24: The Sharjah Capability Development “Tatweer”, affiliated with Rubu Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, continues its efforts to empower young people and prepare them for the future through a range of specialised programmes and initiatives focused on developing an integrated awareness that combines life skills, knowledge and practical experience.

Masar initiative supports self-discovery

Among these initiatives is the “Masar” programme, designed to help young people discover their strengths and define their future paths with confidence and awareness. The initiative offers a comprehensive training experience that combines interactive workshops with practical applications, contributing to the development of both personal and professional skills while enhancing participants’ ability to make informed academic and career decisions.

Financial awareness programme

The foundation is also introducing a specialised financial awareness programme aimed at strengthening financial literacy among young people and enabling them to manage their resources efficiently. The programme focuses on the fundamentals of financial planning and sound financial decision-making through practical training content that connects financial concepts with everyday life applications.

Preparing youth with future skills

As part of its focus on future skills, the foundation continues to deliver its “Skills of Tomorrow” programmes, which aim to equip young people with essential competencies needed to keep pace with changes in the labour market. These include critical thinking, innovation and modern technologies, helping to enhance their readiness for the future and open up new opportunities.

Art as a pathway for growth

The “Through Art We Rise” programme also stands out as one of the creative tracks that uses the arts as a tool for expression and development. It allows participants to explore their artistic abilities and develop their skills in stimulating environments that encourage creative thinking and support the development of balanced and influential personalities.

Commitment to comprehensive development

Khalid Ibrahim Al Nakhi, Director of the Sharjah Foundation for Capability Development, affirmed that the foundation continues to develop its programmes and initiatives in line with the aspirations and needs of young people. He noted that the diversity of programmes reflects the foundation’s vision of providing a comprehensive development experience that contributes to preparing an aware, qualified and impactful generation.

This direction comes as part of the foundation’s commitment to delivering high-quality training content aligned with global best practices and supporting sustainable development efforts through investment in youth capabilities and empowering them to become active contributors to their communities.
