Al Hamriyah Club, SSC meet to discuss sports facility development

Sharjah 24: On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club hosted a delegation from the Sports Facilities Department at the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) for a coordination meeting intended at improving the club's amenities and increasing its infrastructure ready for the next phase.

The meeting was chaired by Ahmed Ali Al Ketbi, Vice Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors, and Engineer Asmaa Al Baloushi, Head of the Council's Sports Facilities Department, and attended by other officials from both sides.

Al Ketbi welcomed the Council delegation and praised the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) for its critical role in upgrading the infrastructure of the emirate's sports clubs, which helps to create an inspirational environment that fosters innovation and excellence among athletes and members.

The conference addressed Al Hamriyah Club's essential maintenance and development requirements, as well as proposals to build additional facilities that would improve the club's ability to organise numerous sporting, cultural, and community activities.

Engineer Asmaa Al Baloushi, for her part, stressed the necessity of continued coordination and collaboration in expanding the emirate's sports infrastructure, as well as adhering to the highest safety and sustainability standards.
