Al Hamriyah Municipality and Club launch "Ramadan Al Hamriyah"

Sharjah 24: The "Ramadan Al Hamriyah" events were officially inaugurated at the Heritage Village in Al Hamriyah. The initiative is jointly organised by Al Hamriyah Municipality and Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, bringing together the local community for a month-long celebration.

Attendance and opening activities

The launch was attended by His Excellency Mubarak Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality; His Excellency Hamid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Club; the Vice Chairman of the Al Hamriyah Municipal Council; members of local councils; and residents of Al Hamriyah.

The opening included a guided tour of the heritage village, showcasing the religious, cultural, sports, and entertainment activities planned for the "Ramadan Al Hamriyah" programme, which will run until the 20th of the holy month.

Commitment to family and community

His Excellency Mubarak Al Shamsi highlighted that the event reflects the municipality and club's dedication to the directives of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who declared 2026 as the Year of the Family. He praised the organising team for their efforts in preparing the venue and arranging the activities.

Invitation to residents

His Excellency Hamid Al Shamsi emphasised that the events provide a recreational outlet for residents during Ramadan. He encouraged everyone to visit the Heritage Village to enjoy the activities and competitions and to participate in sports tournaments at Al Hamriyah Club.
