A formal award ceremony was held at the University, attended by His Excellency Prof. Esameldin Agamy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, vice-chancellors, and a delegation from Bureau Veritas led by George Al Ibrie, Director of Accreditation Development for Emerging Markets.
In his address, Prof. Agamy praised the achievement as a reflection of the University’s sustained commitment to international standards in safety, sustainability, and institutional excellence, noting the Central Laboratories Directorate’s key role in upholding health and safety protocols across all teaching and research facilities.
Strategic initiative for quality and excellence
Prof. Agamy also unveiled a strategic initiative to enhance the University’s administrative and academic framework, including the creation of a Quality Management Office. This office will integrate systems for all accreditation and quality certifications, streamline processes, boost institutional performance, and promote sustainable excellence across the University.
