Interim coach appointment

Assistant coach James Borrego has been named interim head coach. The 48-year-old, who previously led the Charlotte Hornets, was also considered for head coaching roles with the Lakers and Cavaliers in 2024. Dumars said Borrego is expected to remain in charge for the rest of the season.
