Sharjah 24 – AFP: LeBron James said he will take time to consider his future after the Los Angeles Lakers were swept 4–0 by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Western Conference semi-finals.

The 41-year-old posted 24 points and 12 rebounds in the 115–110 defeat, as Oklahoma City advanced behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 35 points.

James, now a free agent, said he will consult his family before deciding whether to continue playing, retire, or explore other options, adding that he feels he has nothing left to prove after his long career.

In the Eastern Conference, Donovan Mitchell led the Cleveland Cavaliers with 43 points in a 112–103 win over the Detroit Pistons to level their series at 2–2.
