Sharjah Tourism Forum launches its 12th edition

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), announced the launch of the 12th edition of the "Sharjah International Tourism and Travel Forum 2025," held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Executive Council, under the theme: "" New Waves of Tourism Spectrum," at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre.

Inauguration and patronage

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Finance Department, inaugurated the "Sharjah International Tourism and Travel Forum 2025," in the presence of sheikhs, officials, experts, and tourism sector specialists.

Emphasis on development and growth

His Excellency Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of SCTDA, emphasised the Authority's commitment to developing the forum annually to ensure the sustainability of the tourism sector, a vital industry in which the UAE and Sharjah are experiencing remarkable growth.

New features in the 12th edition

In statements to Sharjah 24, Al Midfa revealed that the 12th edition featured new categories, such as the Sharjah Tourism Innovation Hackathon, in collaboration with the American University of Sharjah, and youth workshops, along with an accompanying exhibition showcasing 14 entities highlighting the Emirate's tourist destinations and attractions.
