In addition to the launch of the events at Al Suyoh Family Park, celebrations also began at Kashisha Park and Sharjah National Park, and will continue in all cities and areas of the Emirate of Sharjah until December 2nd.
The event featured performances by folk groups that delighted the attendees, while visitors interacted with the various booths presented by participating departments and organizations. A large number of government departments and institutions contributed to organizing and implementing the activities, enriching the celebration program. These included the Department of Municipal Affairs, the Districts Affairs Department, the Social Services Department, the Sharjah Center for Voluntary Work, Sharjah Police , the Environment and Protected Areas Authority, the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, the Department of Statistics and Community Development, Al Bataeh Municipality, Sharjah Sports Council, Sharjah Women's Sports, the Sharjah Archives, Sharjah Museums Authority, the Holy Quran Academy, Sharjah TV, Sharjah Municipality, the Fish Resources Authority, Al Rahmaniya Parks Management, Al Hamriyah Municipality, Bee'ah Group, the Sharjah Police Sciences Academy, Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), Mughaider Suburb, the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, Civil Defence, and other entities that contributed to the 54th UAE Eid Al Etihad celebrations.
The activities at Al Suyoh Park continue with an ongoing series of workshops. Specialized programs, including children’s agriculture workshops to learn about the principles of agriculture and sustainability in an interactive way, and other programs, along with a wide range of heritage and artistic activities that add a joyful national character to the atmosphere, including pottery workshops, shaping the map of the United Arab Emirates with stones and sand, making heritage dolls, painting on glass, and making national cards, so that the celebrations combine the preservation of heritage and the celebration of national identity and cultural heritage.
