The event, part of the wider Sharjah Eid Al Etihad celebrations, saw participation from 33 government and federal entities and was attended by Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler's Office in Kalba.
Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi joined the celebrations at the amphitheatre, alongside senior officials from the emirate, marking the start of the national festivities.
Dr Marwa Hassan Al Naqbi extended her warm congratulations to Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates, the people of the UAE, and all residents on the occasion of the 54th Eid Al Etihad, praying that this and future celebrations continue to bring progress and prosperity to the nation.
She told Sharjah 24 that the Khorfakkan events include national and heritage performances, folk groups, and local artisans, reflecting the spirit of the union.
Dr Al Naqbi noted that the celebration programme will continue with a variety of events leading up to December 2.
