Sharjah Police visits Huawei Headquarters in Shenzhen

Sharjah 24: A delegation from the Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC) visited the headquarters of Huawei in Shenzhen, China, as part of its efforts to develop and enhance its smart security system and technological readiness.

The delegation was headed by Brigadier Dr Ali Ahmed Belzoud, Director General of the General Department of Resources and Support Services, and included Brigadier Dr Abdulrahman Al Helou, Director General of the General Department of Preventive Security; Brigadier Obaid Balrashid, Director of the Digital Services Department; and several officers specialising in technology and security.

 

Reviewing latest advanced technological systems

 

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the latest smart solutions and advanced technological systems offered by Huawei in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and smart security monitoring systems. They also received detailed presentations on live analytics platforms, big data management, and their applications in enhancing the efficiency of security operations.

 

Adopting best global practices

 

This visit is part of SPGC plans to adopt global best practices and expand cooperation with leading technology companies. This will enhance the ability of the security system in the emirate to keep pace with rapid developments and achieve a safer and more sustainable environment.
