Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Chairman of the charity, visited Jordan with a team to oversee these efforts. He emphasized that this visit continues the charity's long-standing commitment to assist Syrian refugees, struggling families, and orphans in Jordan. Sheikh Saqr highlighted that winter can be particularly hard for these families who often do not have enough basic supplies for a stable life, especially in camps and border areas. That's why the charity has focused part of its aid programs on providing winter essentials and direct support by having teams on the ground to assess what families need most.
Supporting orphans is a major focus of their work in Jordan. The charity currently helps about 4,000 orphans by meeting their educational and living needs. This makes Jordan one of the top countries benefiting from the charity’s sponsorship programs. Sheikh Saqr also mentioned that the special event for orphan children during the visit aimed to bring joy to their lives and show them care and attention, which is just as important as providing financial support.
