Sharjah 24: Major General Jassim Mohammed Al Khayal, the Commander-in-Chief of the Amiri Guard, welcomed Brigadier Dr Mohammed Khamis Al Othmani, the Director of the Sharjah Police Science Academy, during a meeting at Command Headquarters on the morning of November 26, 2025. The meeting also included Major General Ghanem Khamis Al Hooli, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief, along with other senior officials and officers.

During the visit, the Commander-in-Chief expressed his appreciation for the Academy’s important role in training police personnel, highlighting its commitment to providing high-quality education and professional development. The two leaders discussed ways to work together more effectively on training, sharing knowledge, and improving the skills of their teams. They aim to enhance overall security efforts, raise the readiness of their personnel, and tackle various challenges more effectively.

After their discussions, Major General Al Khayal took the Academy Director and his team on a tour of several Command facilities. They visited the Command Theater, modern training halls, and the weapons depot, as well as the Amiri Guard Clinics Complex, which includes the Health Center, Physiotherapy Clinic, and Recovery Center. The group also explored the Amiri Guard Sports Club and the Operations Field, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

During the tour, they witnessed a live demonstration showcasing the skills of the Command’s Support and Logistics Team, who are trained to handle various tasks efficiently. Additionally, they observed a training exercise by the Command's Security Inspection (K9) Department, highlighting their ability to perform effectively in real situations. The delegation also had the chance to view the Command’s fleet of specialized vehicles, which have been modified with the latest technology to enhance security and ensure quick responses in any situation.

At the end of the visit, both parties reiterated their dedication to collaborating on future initiatives aimed at improving security and enhancing professional standards within the emirate.
