Faris Al Zaabi, the UAE Committee for Elite and High-Performance Sports' Director of Strategic Projects and Partnerships, went to the meeting for the ministry. Dean Kenneally, the Director of High-Performance Sports, and the technical team also went. Imran Al Jassmi, the Acting Director of the Sports Affairs and Development Department, as well as Jassim Al Doukhi, Hudhaifa Al Kindi, Imad Othman, Tarek Bu Sunainah, and Alwaleed bin Mohammed Al Mashhout from the department, were among the council's guests.
Imran Al Jassmi said the meeting was successful because both sides were able to find obvious areas where they could work together and coordinate their efforts. He liked that the ministry was interested in many things and that the Elite Committee was specifically working with the council. He went on to remark that developing talent and elite athletes requires constant follow-up and the best use of all resources available to clubs in the Emirate of Sharjah.
