SIH renews commitment to preserving UAE cultural identity

SIH celebrates 54th Eid Al Etihad with special cultural program

Sharjah 24: Abubaker Al Kindi, the Director of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, announced that the Institute is dedicated to preserving the UAE's rich cultural heritage and ensuring its values are passed on to future generations. This commitment was emphasized during the celebration of the UAE's 54th Eid Al Etihad. He expressed, "We are devoted to serving our nation and proudly flying its flag. May the UAE continue to be a leader in growth and development."

In an interview with "Sharjah 24," Al Kindi shared that this national celebration is important for reminding people of the unity and values that brought the country together. He mentioned that the Institute is inspired by the vision of the Founding Fathers as it aims for a brighter and more successful future. The celebrations at the Institute featured a range of activities, including traditional music and dance, pottery making, paper painting, and artworks that celebrate the spirit of the Union, along with displays of various traditional crafts.
