SPARK launches BASE39 to foster creative talent

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK), announced that BASE39 is the latest innovative initiative within the Park. The launch was held in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the SPARK.

Purpose of BASE39

BASE39 is designed to bring together innovators, artists, digital designers, startups, and entrepreneurs under one roof to collaborate, exchange ideas, and launch new industries, further enhancing Sharjah’s reputation as a hub for innovation and creativity.

Supporting creative talent

His Excellency Hussain Al Mahmoudi explained that BASE39 marks a new step in supporting creative talent as part of the Park's ongoing expansion. Inaugurated in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, it aims to strengthen Sharjah’s position in innovation and creativity.

Focus and collaborative environment

Al Mahmoudi highlighted that BASE39 targets creatives, artists, digital designers, entrepreneurs, and both local and international startups, providing a collaborative environment that encourages idea-sharing and the development of diverse, innovative industries linked to technology and design.

Inauguration activities

He added that the opening included tours of the facilities, design studios, labs, and digital design workshops, as well as visits to dedicated spaces for companies supporting design and innovation.
