Sharjah 24: The Iraqi national team reached the quarterfinals of the Arab Cup after defeating Sudan 2-0 in the second round of Group D matches at Stadium 974 in Doha, Qatar.

Group standings update

With this victory, Iraq topped Group D with 6 points, while Sudan remained with just one point.

Goal scorers

Iraq's goals were scored by Mohanad Ali in the 81st minute and Amjad Atwan in the 84th minute, sealing their place in the next round.
